I definitely have mixed emotions. Of course I am very, very proud of her and excited for all the new learning experiences and challenges ahead of her as she embarks on her long road of education.
Sometimes I don't feel "old" enough to have a child starting kindergarten. Sometimes I wonder where the time has gone; it truly does not seem possible it's been 5 1/2 years since my beautiful daughter came into this world.
I have learned so much from her, and been reminded about the simple pleasures in life (although I do continue to loose sight of that). Koralyn has taught me what life is all about, and I hope I have been able to show her just how much I love her and how proud she has made me!
