This was year two of the pumpkin patch and pumpkin carving with darren. koralyn tried to help, but ended up scooping a couple seeds out and that was it. I think Darren and i had more fun this year, especially when it came to carving the pumpkins.
koralyn wanted a cat, and fortunately the carving kit d bought included some "templates". i was very weary about carving something as technical and complex as a cat...fortunately by the time i was done my pumpkin actually did look like a cat. darren had no problem making his monkey pumpkin.
darren baked the pumpkin seeds, which to my surprise, tasted quite good!!!
